Program: Decarbonzing the West: Leveraging Natural Pozzolans and EPDs for Sustainable Concrete
This presentation provides a technical and environmental roadmap for integrating natural pozzolans into the Northern California and Western Nevada concrete markets. It addresses the “Perfect Storm” currently facing the Western U.S. construction industry: the simultaneous collapse of coal-based fly ash supplies and the rapid tightening of carbon-reduction mandates. This session equips attendees with the data needed to transition to ASTM C618 Class N materials while meeting rigorous sustainability standards.
