The California Nevada Cement Association presented the case for concrete to the Assembly Committee on Growth and Infrastructure at the 2019 session of the Nevada Legislature on March 7. Topics discussed included the emergence of Portland limestone cement, the continued need for true life cycle costs when analyzing the state’s transportation projects and the advantages of using alternative design/alternative bid in the highway project pavement selection process. The CNCA team with SNCA members also met with several members of the Senate following the presentation.
